Bottoms are Tops!

Interesting article you put together on the derriere! I’ve long deemed that part of a woman’s anatomy the most alluring of her charms. Loving hindsight is best!

You’re right. The caboose seems to have taken front (!) and center in a culture more traditionally geared to boobs and legs. What this newfound obsession says about the contemporary American socio-economic scene, I don’t know. Somehow I think growing awareness of the Federal Reserve Bank’s currency debasements and our Supervisors’ homicidal humanitarianism has something to do with it. But I’m probably grasping at straws.

The callipygian ideal has certainly changed over the years. In the trade-off between rondure and compactness, the latter once held serve. A cheerleader’s bubble butt was de rigueur in the 1970s and 1980s. Nobody liked a big ass.

Now it seems the leading specimens of dorsal delectability (e.g., Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez) have lots junk in the trunk. Rondure reigns supreme.
