"Aks"

How hard can it be to articulate the word "ask"? I was on a phone conference in a colleague's office a couple of years ago with the vice-president (!) of a bank on the line. Not only did she say "aks" for "ask," but she kept repeating the word "askess." (So she could say "askess" but not "ask"?)

Did she mean "access" or "assets"? We were discussing the transfer of pension funds, so both words were plausible in context. My colleague hit the mute button two or three times to *ask* which she meant, but I couldn't tell, either.

Unemployment Insurance Claim - Appeal

I refused experimental gene-modification therapy. As a result, my employer terminated my services after a 20-day unpaid suspension that ended on Sept. 30, 2021. Those are the facts. I fail to see how my refusal constitutes either "voluntary termination" or "gross misconduct."

The employer's COVID-19 "vaccine" mandate lacks any semblance of a scientific or business rationale. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky herself admitted as much in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer on Aug. 8, 2021--a full month before my involuntary termination. In her own words, the "vaccine" prevents neither infection nor transmission. Here is a link to the interview:

I am a law-abiding citizen. I have paid taxes all my life.

Please! In the name off all that is decent and reasonable! Approve my claim.

Medical Licensing

Libertarians oppose licensing. It may be their hottest take.

"Any quack could hang a shingle and foist his snake oil on an unsuspecting public!" the mid-wits shriek. "You need standards!"

Standards? You mean like mandated snake oil?
