Drug Prohibition & Anti-Vaxxism

If the State has a legitimate interest in protecting you from dangerous drugs, it certainly follows it has a legitimate interest in protecting you from dangerous vaccine refusal. The underlying premise? The State knows better than you do what's good for you.

"My body, my choice" does not apply when it comes to the natural right to self-medication. It does apply when it comes to the unnatural right to abortion. Never mind that, under the first scenario, the adult makes a decision that can puts only his own health and well-being at risk, whereas under the second, the adult makes a decision that results in the elimination of a non-consenting party to the transaction.

Millions of otherwise intelligent human beings defend fining and imprisoning adults who freely choose to smoke, snort, or inhale the substances of their choice, even as they vehemently object to any legislative measure aiming to restrict a woman's right to kill her baby. Isn't that something?
